[NPInfo] BON visits- institutional dysfunction in N.C.

So then, the Doctors of N.C. have their little BSN'er fascist collaborators
who do their dirty work looking for little hypertechnical 'gotchas' to try
to burn 'Nurses' who are so uppity as to try to practice medicine?!
Wouldn't their talents as RNs be better used providing education to the
public about healthy lifestyle choices, combating domestic violence, etc. ?

PHysician supervisory statutes are virtually identical for NP's and PA's.
The actual auditing (and potential disciplinary actions) is the function of
the NC Medical Board.  There is a joint committee of the BON and the Medical
Board but it appears to me that our nursing members are ineffectual in
promoting our cause.  So, the "they" in Paula's post is the medical board.
