Here in Michigan, when I was doing housecalls a few years back, there are companies that do x-rays in the home. Medicare covered the cost. The company would call me at home that evening with the results. Then I would get an offical report faxed to the housecall office the next day. I would start tx in the home, and if I thought it was necessary, I had the info to send the patient to the hospital. Perhaps you have a mobile medical x-ray company in your area.

We could get venous doppler ultrasounds and ECHO cardiograms in the home also. I took my own EKG and lab supplies, so we had several services available to the patient.

We have several podiatrists in town who do house calls and do minor foot surgeries in the home. I used to debride wounds routinely in homebound patient's homes, but surgery in any setting is not my favorite thing:)
