For example, if I see a patient in the office and decide to admit him/her. I
can bill only for either the office visit or hospital visit. Since admit to
hospital pays more, we bill that way.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [NPInfo] coding question

If I see a pt in the clinic, I code that visit. But, I am admitting him to
the nsg home the PM, can I code this visit too? on the same day? do I have
to repeat the PE in the NH?
