This is unbelievable Tracy. The website says that the school is committed to achieving "diversity", and wanting a range of backgrounds. That should not be diversity in education or experience. That is the problem nursing programs already have is DISPARITY amongst the length, curriculum and standards of the education, and perhaps they are now calling "disparity" "diversity". The only thing I saw that had anything to do with nursing, was that the prospective candidate had to have 3 references stating why they thought the person would be suitable for nursing research. Anyone can come up with that. So if this happened in the FBI, or in Chemistry, someone could have a bachelor of science in English, or Photography, and then go get a PHD in chemistry and run a laboratory? This just further discredits nursing reputation.
