[NPInfo] medicare billings for nurse BP checks????

the doc nixed it saying it wold po the pts if they had to pay for  a BP check.

That said....if the person has HTN (401.9) and the person is coming in for a
blood pressure check and there is some sort of E&M that takes place, you may
be able to code it as a 99211 (which is a nurse visit)

Here is what it says in the CPT guide:

established patient, that may not require the presence of a physician.
Usually, the presenting problem(s) are minimal. Typically, 5 minutes are
spent performing or supervising these services.
