I just got word from the Center for Nursing Advocacy that Cadbury Scheppes  PULLED the ad OFF  the market in response to the calls and letters from hundreds of nurses. I had written a letter also, and originally got a letter back saying that the ad was reviewed by a certain demographic in the population who approved it.  I and others wrote back saying that the stereotype of nurses is so persistent in the media historically, that the negative message about the "naughty nurse" would not stand out as shocking.
