I lived in San Diego for 14 years and worked at UCSD Medical Center. I have several friends there. I hope your daughter is doing ok. I just wrote to my previous roommate who lives in Carmel valley, and my sister who is down in San Gabriel Valley, and two other family members in Orange County. Have not heard yet from my roommate in Carmel Valley, SD county. But my sister has a friend who he and his parents live in Ramona (SD county). His parents home burned down, and they are in their 80's. His barn and 5,000.00 worth of hay burned, but they got the animals out. It is very scary. They are going to Qualcomm stadium for evacuation. I have not seen the update tonite yet. Carla/Oregon
