Glad you had a great time but I continue to urge ALL NPs west of the Rocky Mtns to boycott all NPACE events until they finally recognize that NPs all over the country are worth educating and worthy of attention. Back to Boston next year indeed!!!

Hey, Linda. . were your ears burning? Dave Mittman, Sue Wiers, Michael
Marks, Bob Blumm and others were sending you tons of love from NYC. We all
spoke of you, our listserve, how it acts as an extended family full of love
and support and how you're a beacon of light for all of us. Hang in there
.. . it's normal as you know to have bumps along the road but tomorrow is
another day, Scarlett, and you'll be on top before you know it.
Hugs, Priscilla, reeling from NYC, the lights, the fun.

DAVE is a wonderful tour guide! If you haven’t met Dave, you should. What
a true New Yorker he is and so giving and caring with his love of the city.
We drove by Macy’s in Time Square and Dave stops in the traffic and yells
out to a cop surrounded by paparazzi, “What’s going on?” It was Mariah
Cary but we couldn’t stop long enough to really see her.
We had a blast at a great TRUE Italian spot in Manhattan. It was right out
of Sopranos. Amazing food and people watching. Neat old guys, WW2 vets who
we all flirted with. There was magic in the air as we sat right on the
Battery with a grand view of the Statue of Liberty. Pictures will follow.
I’m still rubbing my eyes from a vision: A Rabbi on a unicycle! Go figure.
. . where else but NYC!?!?! Sue brought incredible chocolates from her neck
of the woods in Michigan. One of her patients owns a famous candy/chocolate
store. It was a grand night. Saw Lorraine too but only on Sunday. WE all
spoke of our love for the listserve. It was a fantastic trip and my heart
goes out to a NP from Carlsbad, Calif that I sat beside at breakfast. She
wasn’t sure if she had a house to return to! No news, other than her family
had been evacuated.
I had the pleasure of hearing another grand talk by Peg Fitzgerald. Our
whole table was talking about how she’s a legend and has forever wonderfully
changed NP education. What a group we are and I’m so proud to be a part of
this group and these wonderful folks!
It was great to see Mimi Secor back in action and recovered from her Lyme
bout. She has laryngitis but her voice rallied for her talks. What a high
to be so many esteemed colleagues!
I’m dying to hear from Dena, Chris and all the others from CA as our hearts
go out to you. It’s surreal to watch it all.
Rambling on so will sign off. . . back to reality. Hope to meet many more
of you in the future. And Stacy from TX, if you’re out there lurking, I
missed seeing you this year. Back in Boston next year so plan ahead, and
know Dena’s not budging but whoever can make it, it’s a blast.
