Hi Sue,
My sister recently became contingent POA for a 94 yr old gentleman whose other POA died tragically last December at age 63 of a heart attack. Ironically that poor woman died in Chino Valley Hospital. But anyway, the gentleman who has bladder cancer needs hospice, and my sister is in the middle of trying to arrange things (we grew up near there in Diamond Bar), so I left a message on her phone. I have been out of Southern California myself for years now, but since my sister (who lives in Colorado) is now arranging care for this man who lives near Chino, I am sure she will have info, so I will get back to you. I live in Michigan and have an aunt who lives in California. Based on my
discussions today with my cousin, she would be appropriate for hospice care.
However, my cousin received poor advice from discharge planners and isn't
getting much guidance. Can anyone recommend a hospice in California? She
lives in a town called Chino which I believe is near LA. Thank you.
