ROFL! What great comments. You hit the nail right on the head.

My point is, I have my autonomous role, the MD is there, and we've learned 
to live in peace. Could it really be any better? Perhaps, but why wish for 
pie in the sky? We've got NP's on this list who are rooming their own 
patients, being shunned when they ask an RN to give an injection, and being 
told they have to put "RN" on their name badge. I think my situation is 
pretty good compared to alll that.
