In my new job, i attended a presentation from 2 companies that offer services to seniors and LTC facilities.
   
  the first company is owned by a MSW and offers behavioral health services, and a psych NP was involved inthe presentation and will provide med management if needed.
   
  the 2nd was started by an NP in NC and offers incontinence services by trained NPs. The NP who will come to our place was very learned in the topics, and the services impressive. She'll do bedside cystometrics, insert and change estrings, train staff in B&B  programs, do some biofeedback training. They even recommend flomax for women with overactive bladder issues. The doc wants documentation on this as he had never heard of using flomax in women. I'll share when we get it. It was all very intersting to see how creative we can be when a niche market is identified.
