Medscape has lots of free CEs. So do the NP journals I get for free at home. Some are mail in, many are online. I rarely pay for any CEs, as I usually mentor a student once a year, plus teach for UOP, and these count for CEs also. I published an article this year too, and this counts toward CEs.

Subject: [NPInfo] free cmes vs nurse CEs at a price
So, I having been doing some online CME courses, got to wondering why are there so many free CMEs, yet the CEs for nurses have to be paid for. Are there free CEs for nurses anywhere online? I have to play cacth up for my license renewal in Nov. I am thinking of going to our state convention, but they are only giving 8 CEs for 2 1/2 days! Are there any interesting conventions, workshops, etc coming up?
Paula

Paula J.
