This is happening all over in my home town the hospital is in so much distress, nurses are taking 9 orthopedic/trauma patient. No double time, over time, the baylor nurses who work 32 but paid for 40 on the weekend have now been assigned to a rotation.  Also the hospital is considering cutting the nurses pay period to 72 hours instead of 80.  Calling people off not allowing them to come to work and using there PTO time so that when they need it they do not have time to take off.  Taking away PTO time. Many people lost homes, cars ready to commit suicide because they are stress out for being laid off because the hospital says it is on a cut back trying to save money.  Patricia T CFNP
