Comments Dave Mittman wrote articulated my sentiments exactly  except all I 
said in earlier e-mail response was, "PLEASE read the article that  Dave so 
kindly has passed along with caution".
 
This article was generally a dis-service to NPs  [and PAs  also]... those who 
do work similar to physicians.....and.... do it quite  well....
 
To say "we are as good as" physicians says we're assuming a  "victim" or 
"lesser-than" role...
 
Let's get it together folks.... truly CELEBRATE our  contribution to health 
care.... our patients as well as physicians and others  who work closely with 
us know our value and capabilities.
 
COMMENT:  Believe half of what you see  and none of what you hear from those 
who haven't walked a mile in your  shoes!   It's more important NOW than ever 
to become active in  professional organizations, to lobby, to be  
proactive!!!!!
