Excellent points Dena- While I have no desire, nor intention of taking this
exam, I wonder, has anyone asked how well the family docs or internists
would do if they took the ANCC or AANP exams?
NANCE's response to DKiley...

Way to go! Great question! I've asked it but not as directly as you...

I need not take and MD exam to validate my competency...
Besides... many of us who routinely access "physician" texts and review
books.... have "answered" MD board sim questions... quite well by the way... and
"even" understand the content in the textbooks!

QUESTION: Are you aware of the references used to validate/verified content
for questions on AANP cert exams in adult, family, gerontology? Question
content must be validated/verified. At professional meetings have you looked at
the texts on display for NPs? What texts and references [journals included]
are used routinely in NP programs?
