Uphold & Graham (2003) is on the reference list for the ANCC board exams. So is Fenstermacher & Hudson (2004). These can be used as a guideline base, and a lot of NPs and docs use the Up To Date series for more current information. As I look through the list of ANCC approved references, many seem to be from 2000 to 2004. I hope we'll be getting new editions soon.

Speaking of NP texts....What are people using for Guidelines? I still love
Uphold and Graham but am embarrassed to be writing 2003 as my guideline when
asked for 4np forms, etc....I also still use Hawkins for GYN. I am going to
purchase some for the workplace as needed in NY. Would love some input. NY
has a long list of approved texts but I would love some comments.
