For those of you who have taken the time to participate in my DNP Capstone
project, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. 33 people have
opened the study and done the pre-test but only 11 have done the attached
post-test. I need a total of 50 NPs (particularly those in Primary Care) to
complete the study (pre and post-test) and, of course, I'd like to get it
done ASAP. So, for those 11 of you who finished the whole thing, thanks
again-- I owe you big time!! For the 22 who started but didn't finish, I
hope you will consider finishing it by doing the post-test (the link of
which is after the article but before the reference list)--- please, please,
please, please??? And for any of you who might have missed the original
invitation, here is the website again:

The introductory letter is below this message. And thank you so much for
your valuable time!

Dear Provider,

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice
(DNP) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. I
am currently conducting an investigation to complete my clinical capstone
project. I invite you to participate in my investigation to describe the
level of nurse practitioner knowledge regarding benign prostatic hyperplasia
(BPH) and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) before and after an online
educational intervention.

Your participation in this investigation will involve completing an online
pre-test survey (approximately 10 minutes) and then proceeding through a
posted online teaching paper (approximately 10-20 minutes) after which you
will be automatically connected back to complete an online post-test survey
(approximately 10 minutes). All data will be aggregated and reported as
group data. You are assured complete confidentiality since you are asked NOT
to enter your name anywhere within the survey. Your participation is
voluntary and will in no way jeopardize your role as a nurse practitioner.
Moreover, the benefit to your participation will be to learn more about BPH
and LUTS and to help professionally to increase nursing knowledge, and is
therefore greatly appreciated. Your informed consent will be assumed by your
decision to continue through the online testing.
To participate in the study, simply enter the link posted below:
