[NPInfo] Help please or suggestions for my mom in Upland, California

Carla, I've seen many people placing ads on craigslist.com under medical to  
hire a live in caregiver for their mom or dad-people hire one to live in 
Monday  to Friday and another one for the weekend so there's 24/7 coverage. I'm not 
sure  about Upland but in Orange County most are paying $12-14 per hour or a 
flat  weekly rate. 
 
Also, call her doctor to ask for referrals. I would do whatever is possible  
to keep her in her own home with live ins. Nursing homes are for the dying.  
However if need be, board and care homes are very nice. Had my mom in one that  
was $2100/month-included everything but her prescriptions.
