I work at GW. I work in specialty practice but I know of a few good PCPs.

The Medical Faculty Associates of GW have a few good primary care docs, but
their system is difficult to navigate with administrative personnel who are
often not helpful. If she can navigate the system, ask for either Drs. Rochelle
Brown, Benjamin Blatt, Sharon Baratz, Shirley Kalwaney, or Brad Moore. But
truthfully, the system there is so flawed she should look elsewhere first,

There is a Dr. Linda Assatourians on K Street. I really like her. She was in
practice with her father but I think her father is either retired or close to
 it. She is smart.

There is a group by American University (Drs. Kane, Davis, etc). They are
infectious disease but have an internal medicine doc in the practice. This is
where I would go if they took my insurance.

Any of the PCPs at Georgetown are good, but again, the system is tough. It's
an academic center so you see a resident first, but I like the referral
system there so if she ever needs a specialist, she is in good hands.

Good luck.
Barb
