[NPInfo] re: Ambien CR commercial "no mention of "doctor", instead "prescriber"

This may have been mentioned before, but I noticed last night on a fairly long good commercial about Ambien CR, that over and over again, the verbal commentary said "Talk to your Prescriber.. it was very good, said many times, and in fact it stuck out to me, it was said so often, instead of Talk you Your Doctor"... Sanofi-Aventis is the manufacturer, and the website is fairly neutral as well, and mentions "health care provider" and "doctor".. and was updated 2/08.   I think this was a conscientious change and response to our emails and letters, as  I believe the Ambien commercial was one of the ones the list focused on a while back. Changes do occur and this is good, as WE know that physicians are not the only prescribers, but the media portrayal to the public is so powerful. Carla
