Lynn--
I am not angry and I respect your opinion.  But, (as you might have guessed) 
I disagree that voicing disagreement with the direction of our profession is 
"complaining" or "badmouthing".  I believe it is every single NP's 
responsibility to speak up if they feel that the best interest of the 
profession and the public is not being upheld.  I am not publicly expressing 
my disagreement, either.  This is a professional forum where things of this 
nature can and SHOULD be discussed.  I appreciate everyone's opinion on this 
matter, including yours.  But lets not silence the discussion because there 
are opposing views.  It is from debate like this that we all learn things 
and broaden our views.
