But shouldn't Jan, as a fearless leader of one of our largest national
organizations, already be aware of all this? Has her head been in the sand?
Shouldn't the AANP already be doing something about all of this-- not just
in Florida, but nationally as well?

Wow, I think I'll email Ms. Towers about the working conditions for
Florida ARNPs. Everyone seems to have their head in the sand concerning
our situation.
What do you think, Jeffy? Should we double-team her???
Best Regards,

HI Linda,
I would recommend contacting Jan Towers, the Director of Health Policy
at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
(http://aanp.org/AANPCMS2). She brings to bear the weight of a 30,000
member NP organization and has been very effective on Capitol Hill in
supporting and protecting legislation to create favorable practice
environments for NPs. I'm sure this is something she'd be very
interested in knowing about.
