Dave,
Thank you for your response. Yes, I would say he has lots of stress for a 9yr.old. In his short time, he has had a lot put on him from both his parents, and unfortunately, that is some of the reason he was living with us. I can't say much of his home environment now, because I am not around as much. There are no pets, no smoking that I know of, no known allergies. The bad thing is, I know his mom has stated he sees rings, but he hasn't. When you ask him directly, he looks to his mom for the answers. She takes him to the MD for anything and everything. I just know when he wasn't in that environment, there were no complaints of ailments. If anything negatively is said regarding that, she will stop all visitations and I don't want that to occur. He does complain of being tired sometimes. I have suggested counseling, if for no other reasons, just to help him possibly deal with stress. She will not agree to it. So, I was just trying to get some kind of ideas that I might could pass on to her to mention to his doctor. I want him to get the best possible care but I don't want to see him overly medicated or be on medications "just because". Again, thank you to all who have sent suggestions. Kim

Kimberly:
Common and not.
Kids have migraines. You should know some of the factors; allergies,
pets, stress, etc.
Does he have an aura? Nausea? pre-migraine feelings? Any other sx.
You have to see what is different between this environment and the
last. No pets, no dust, etc. Maybe stress? Less sleep?
Maybe toxic (air like smoking?) area.
Just as an FYI, I would think stress, needs attention or something
psychogenic.
