Could those of you in private practice give me some ideas of what to expect
for reimbursements? A typical well woman annual exam for instance- & then
perhaps, a medicare pt w/HTN, obesity, insomnia, or something similar. I had
another doctor tell me today that he is no longer a MC provider, although he is
accepting MC pts. I'm guessing that means he isn't accepting assignment.

The medical biller who was supposed to be working on applications for
provider numbers for the new office, wasn't. Now, we'll be open & seeing pts we
can't bill for until she files all those forms. I know it will take months to
receive MC numbers, but what about the other insurance companies?

Thanks!
