I had also heard that the study was on people with average LDL's of 300, but hadn't seen that in writing.  If this is the case, it seems unreasonable to extrapolate the findings onto the general population.  That is why I am not yanking the few people whom I have on those products off.  The jury seems to be out.  It seems like I am saying that a lot these days (such as with Avandia, Chantix, Celebrex  . . .).
