Hi- A couple of comments. 
 
Stephanie, I appreciate the rate of complete resolution is low At the same time, this is such a tough condition to treat in women. I need to look at the original study to see what the rates of partial resolution was. 
 
Dave- Mechanism of action of the meds that likely contributed to the albeit limited clinical effect is the anti androgenic effect of both medications. 
 
My concern- Two K+ sparing meds. I need to investigate as to whether a "regular" OC (not Yaz or Yasmin, generic and cheap as is the 2d med) with spironolactone would have equivilant efficacy.
