Dave:
Big Pharma is partly to blame in this mess, with their billion dollar
annual profits. We can't totally blame the physicians, although they are
in bed with the pharmaceutical companies to a large extent.
One of my friends just got some reasonably-priced health insurance from
AARP. She is 56. It might be worth checking out. Perhaps it is cheaper
than Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

I am personally paying $1,200 a month for Horizon BC/BS which covers
little. RXs are reimbursed at 50%. Psych is honestly not covered I am
on Lipitor and Prevacid.
Wife on meds also. So how does $20,000 a year sound as a minimum
payment for the RIGHT to minimum coverage and we are pretty much
healthy.
Unbelieveable.
