Hi,

There are several questions in your email. OSHA is more strict when you have employees of any kind. Then you do need to have checklists for blood borne pathogen, universal precaution and other booklets read by each employee. You also need posters, and eye wash, and personal protective equipment, and a policy for employee injury or exposure. You need info on Hep b vaccine and declination if so. You can go on to the OSHA website to get all the info. Refridgeraters need to be a certain temp for vaccine, most require 35-46 degrees Farenheit and have to be recorded twice a day. But some vaccines require freezing, so again check with the individual vaccine. Most offices do CLIA waived tests, which include urine dip, urine hcg, mono test, rapid strep, influenza test. Anything more than that, you need a license for Clia lab testing.

For Clia waived tests, you pay 150.00 and you get an id number. The address is:
  Clia Laboratory program
  PO box 70948
  Charlotte, NC 28272-0948

In Oregon, The state agency was Oregon State Public Health Laboratories
  Portland, PR
  503 229 5853

You might call them to get your state info. I have not heard of office "room" temp requirements.

  Hope that helps,

  Happy new year all,
Does anyone know anything about osha, clia and temperature of a clinic room?
Do they have to be checked at a specific time, temp etc?
Thanks
Margie
