[NPInfo] What a NP can do

California does not 'license' NPs, but Certificates Nurse Practitioners-
simply as "RN, NP"
In CA, one is a 'Nurse Practitioner' or 'Nurse Practitioner Furnisher'
(meaning Rx authority, Sched II-V if paperwork turned into BRN & w/DEA #
etc). One can then hold ones self out as a Nurse Practitioner. Additional
alphabet soup embellishment can be added/touted, but per BRN regulations
(which no one seems to follow in these regards), AFTER 'NP' as a separate
matter.
i.e.
Jane Mary Doe, RN, NP
Family Nurse Practitioner

the point being, in CA, one is "NP" (per Certificate/license/title/BRN
regs/etc.)
