My degree does not say abridged DNP ---- I agree with Dena...a BSN is a BSN a DNP is a DNP is a DNP. I remember when they were going to mandate a BSN and do away with ADN programs...wow ...that's more then 30 years now. Another 30 years I'll probably be DEAD!!! I'm through with getting degrees to be at the top of my game in nursing...* 8 degrees is enough (two Associates, three Bachelors, two masters and a DNP). ENOUGH ...that is after I take the new DNP cert. exam.

Subject: [NPInfo] DNP another thought
I was just struck by another thought: The DNP programs now are "Bridging
rograms" for MSN prepared NP.
So when the full 4 year programs start with the people with the "Bridged"
read abridged) programs be a lesser level of DNP than the full 4 year
ohort?
Broc, Dena, Peg? Any thoughts on that? I mean where does this end?
Do we all fly to Antigua and just get MD's there?
Ted
Still fuming
