[NPInfo] Offlist request on Navy Portsmouth Hospital job in Norfolk, VA

  I don't recall seeing this particular job posting but, in the past, most of the civilian provider jobs at military bases were locum tenums temporary positions contacted through Spectrum-- although indefinite extensions are usually available. Lately I think I've been seeing CompHealth advertising for a couple of these positions (or maybe I'm just making that up??). I have worked for CompHealth in the past (in a traveling RN position) and have talked with the people at Spectrum on many occasions. Again, not sure if the position you're describing is from either of these companies or not.

I may be looking to relocate now that “my baby” is flying the nest and off
to college. I’d appreciate any insider info on this facility before
applying.
Ironically, I was born there! The oldest Naval hospital in the world! It’s
a civilian position but thought it might be fun with my military experience.
It would put me closer to my VA family.
