I personally wouldn't do a thing unless the smoking answer is yes. I would
repeat the cbc to see if the wbc returns to normal.  Trick question as you
treat the patient not the labs so didn't say what the symptoms were or why
the labs were done. When the HDL is this high, the chance of any cardiac
event is nil.  
So the answer is .. . more info needed to answer.

Hello listers!
 
I have interesting results on the lipid panel of a patient.  How would you 
proceed?
 
Total Cholesterol    300
TG                         65
HDL                      121
LDL                      164
(can't remember VLDL but you can figure out the ratio and the non-HDL's)
 
Other information about the patient:  BMI 19 ; age 25, female; WBC is 2.8 
(besides the low polys and lymphs on the diff, all the rest is normal on the

CBC); TSH 1.2;  CMP results were normal; Vitamin D level is 62.
