I definitely concur with further investigating these lipids through the use
of NMR, Lipoprofile, or Berkley labs

Respectfully,

Thanks,

Hello listers!

I have interesting results on the lipid panel of a patient. How would you
proceed?

Total Cholesterol 300
TG 65
HDL 121
LDL 164
(can't remember VLDL but you can figure out the ratio and the non-HDL's)

Other information about the patient: BMI 19 ; age 25, female; WBC is 2.8
(besides the low polys and lymphs on the diff, all the rest is normal on the

CBC); TSH 1.2; CMP results were normal; Vitamin D level is 62.

Thanks for your input!

Susan
