A NP is a lance corporal in the British military? How inappropriate and degrading.
Very sad to lose a colleague from a bomb blast. Feel sorry for the wife and those 3 kids.

Evesham nurse killed in blast is flown home
By Steve Mather

Comment
THE body of an Evesham Hospital nurse killed by a mine in Afghanistan
was flown back to the UK on Monday (23).
Lance Corporal Richard Larkin was one of four British soldiers killed
in the blast in the Helmand Province region last week.
SAS reservist LCpl Larkin aged 39, a night charge nurse at Evesham
Community Hospital, was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in
was caught in the blast on Tuesday, June 17.
The married father of three from Cookley, near Kidderminster, joined
the hospital as an emergency nurse practitioner in the minor injuries
unit (MIU) in 2004 and progressed to run the MIU and the hospital
overnight in 2005.
Details of his funeral have not yet been confirmed.
