I don’t know...there is a lot of truth in what he says.  There are times
when docs actually ask for my opinion because of my particular expertise and
then there are times (that 10%) that I thank God that there is a doc there
to consult with on a difficult pt.  I think if I were a Doc I would be a
little incensed at APC's who get too cocky.  Education is important and we
all know it.  I see the same problem between nurses and MA's.  I would much
rather have a nurse to work  with than an MA because nurses have so much
better insight but a good MA with many years of experience is just as
valuable even if she doesn't have all the fancy physiology knowledge behind
her.  If we could all just agree to work to get along and help each other
out what a wonderful world this would be!

Great advice, Dave. I just get so incensed at these posts. I guess it's
also 
akin to the expression about opinions and a certain excretory part of the  
lower GI tract...everybody has one!
