I suspect that if he had quit smoking a few years ago, this wouldn't
be an issue because he wouldn't have had the stroke. BODY {

Given the scenario of stroke 3 days post start of Chantix I would:
1. This fellow most likely had an Autopsy....
2. Given Autopsy, the medical examiner customarily reviews the case
and
contacts health professionals RT case.
3. Finding out what was ascertained through post mortem examination
regarding the decedent's "total picture" and any possible link to
Chantix is the
place to begin.
4. To do otherwise is supposition and can create an unnecessary
flurry of
fingerpointing... litigation...etc etc.... The survivors go through
much as it
is without having this added layer unless signs point to this as a
potential/viable explanation.
