Hey Dave,
You;'re not an old fogey (well, maybe you are,m I don;t know you) but that doesn't matter in this situation at all. Everybody should be treated wih respect regardless of who's providing the care and leaving a woman bare chested on a guerney (probably cold and with CP no less!) is not cool! Unless she started to code, I can't think of any reason for that behavior to be okay. I find it odd that women are defending this behavior as okay.
Also, when it come to chaperones- let's stop with the boy for a boy and girl for girl, shall we? What about the boys who like boys and the girls who like girls? Let's just make sure anytime an exam or procedure is going to be potentially sentitive have someone accomany you. That's worked for me (knock on wood). TR
