Yikes! Message-ID: <2f2.320bafc.31683e8d@aol.com> Well, the first doctor who was to be my medical director now has to wait at least 6 months for a second MediCal provider number, as he already has 3 clinics of his own which is the maximum for 1 number here in Calif. It took him 27 months to get the first one! Since I can't afford to wait 6+ more monthsto earn money, I decided to look for another OB/GYN to be the medical director, which I found today. He wants me to write up a proposal over the weekend and deliver it to his office on Monday, but..................I don't know where to begin!! Can some of you please throw some ideas my way on what to put into this proposal, other than he is the medical director, overseeing the NPs that I will hire to see the patients, he will work part time in the office to see the complications(1-2 half days from what I have seen other clinics here do), all billing will be done with his MediCal provider number until such time as I finish my NP or CPM programs to apply for my own number, number of deliveries per month that he'd like to do with the rest contracted out to other OB/GYNs in the area, reimbursement to him for being the medical director (other doc jumped at the 7% of the revenue ,etc. The attorney said that as an RN, I can only own 49% and the doctor 51% of the medical corporation and he's ready to fill out the papers for me as soon as I get a doctor on board.
