Subject: [PrvPracNP] do pay a medical director fee ?
I have been bent out of shape since Fri because the doc who agreed to be my medical director for the prenatal clinic hadn't faxed back the signed last page of the contract. Supposed to meet with the atty today at 3 to do the paperwork for the nursing corporation I am forming for the office
he said that he just got the contract today and that there's no incentive for him to be the medical director if I pay him $125 an hour to see patients in the office and $500 for each delivery, so he's proposing $100 an hour to see office patients, he'll bill the $544 delivery on his own PLUS $1500 a month to be the medical director. I thought my proposal was better than doing calculations each month and giving him 5-7% of the revenue after expenses are paid. I will have to find and hire an NP fast.
*sigh* I hope there'll be some leftover money for me to have a salary............
