You may be made aware of a student who has been raped. If you choose not to involve me, please direct immediate follow up at Providence. Sarah Sundin RN BSN MEd School Nurse Kamiak High School For sexual assault/ abuse: Anyone 13 and over can go to Providence Pacific Emergency Room. When they get there, they need to ask them to page" the S.A.N.E. team". They will come right out. The total visit time may be about three hours depending on how busy the ER is. They try to make it feel as safe and upbeat as possible. CPS does not necessarily send a student there, but they are required to notify CPS. So we need to make sure our students follow through with an exam. They do not share info with anyone else unless ok'd by student.
