Family Nurse Practitioner for the South Carolina Lowcountry

In southern coastal South Carolina, we are seeking a Family Nurse 
Practitioner to work in an
independent office with support staff. You will be taking on an 
established patient base of
primarily child-bearing age families with balanced complement of seniors.

This is a collegial position working days Monday through Friday with 
no call, with a physician
resource if needed. Typical duties are the common full scope family 
practice, but you will be
required to handle most urgent care medical needs of a smaller community.

We are seeking someone with minimum of 2 years of experience, with 
minimum of one year
of primarily independent decision making. Suturing skills are a must, 
as you will also
encounter foreign body removal, urgent care injuries, and the like.

The employer prefers an individual who will make a life in the area. 
The Lowcountry is known
for its mild winters, warm summers, marsh tidal areas, & history. 
There is something for
everyone, from the beaches to the creeks, without the crush of 
tourists common in other beach
areas. Good schools are in the area, as well as several nearby 
colleges. Live oaks, Spanish
moss, & azaleas decorate a state that values its NPs.

An excellent salary base is offered, with a bonus system in place.
