Palliative Care Service

University Health Associates, West Virginia’s 
largest multi-specialty physician practice, has
an outstanding career opportunity available for 
an 2 Advanced Practice Nurse-Palliative Care
Service. UHA is affiliated with WVU School of 
Medicine and WVU Hospitals in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities include providing palliative 
care to chronically ill inpatients and outpatients,
coordinating the hospital-based interdisciplinary 
palliative care team, participating in
post-discharge planning, educating other health 
care providers about palliative care, and
developing policies.

Experience with palliative care in a hospital 
and/or hospice setting is preferred. Prior Nursing
or Nurse Practitioner experience is required.
