Nurse Practitioner - Clinical Liaison, Psychiatric

Providence Medical Group North. Position is on-call, days, 8a-5p. 
Required: Licensed or
licensure eligible to practice nursing in the state of Oregon; 
Master's Degree Psychiatric
Nursing; specialty certification through professional nursing 
organization; five years nursing
experience with three years in the clinical specialty area; 
professional leadership skills in
teaching and program development. Prioritizes work and manages time; 
communicates
effectively with the health care team, and throughout the 
organization; establishes therapeutic
relationships with patients and families; demonstrates effective 
problem solving skills;
establishes vision for nursing and quality patient care; demonstrates 
effective planning for
change. The Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Liaison is an 
autonomous professional who,
under the Department of Mental Health & Chemical Dependency, promotes 
quality patient care
as an expert clinician, consultant, educator, and role model to 
medical-surgical units of the
medical center. Serves as a liaison between Department of Mental 
Health & Chemical
Dependency and Nursing Services to promote integration of mental 
health concepts in the
nursing care of medical-surgical patients through the provision of 
nursing consultation and
development of interdisciplinary treatment approaches. Also 
coordinates transfers of medical-
surgical inpatients requiring admission the mental health inpatient 
units. Performs other
related duties as assigned by the Medical Director. Salary: $34.90 to 
$52.36 per hour. For more
