Make a difference in Women's Health Care by Volunteering!

The Women's Community Clinic is looking for Nurse Practitioner 
Volunteers to help us
provide free health care for women by women. We see girls and women 
age 12 and over,
from first pelvic exams to post-menopause. Our services include: 
contraceptive and family
planning services; sexual and reproductive health counseling; STI 
screening and treatment;
pregnancy testing and counseling; breast and cervical screening and 
education; and routine
gynecological care. We also offer acupuncture, HIV testing, and 
Street Outreach. We do not
offer primary care or prenatal care. We do have malpractice insurance 
for all or our clinician
volunteers.

When you volunteer at the Women's Community Clinic, we ask that you 
stand by our mission
to improve the health and well-being of all women. Our mission is 
anchored in two core
beliefs: that preventive, educational care is essential to lifelong 
health and that all women
deserve excellent care regardless of their ability to pay. We also 
ask that you make at least a
12 month commitment of 2 shifts per month (shifts are four hours) and 
attend quarterly
volunteer meetings and trainings.

We ask that volunteers have had some prior experience working in 
Women's Health.
