Medical Center of Plano, a 427-bed acute care hospital located just 
north of Dallas, has an
excellent opportunity available for a Neuro Nurse Practitioner. This 
individual will provide
comprehensive health assessment, diagnosis and treatment of 
individuals with potential or
actual neurological or neurospinal health needs by utilizing the 
nursing process based on
expanded knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology. Clinical decisions are
formulated in consultation and collaboration with attending 
physicians. The Neurological
Acute Nurse Practitioner is additionally involved in education, 
consultation, performance
improvement and research. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 
years of experience in
critical care nursing with a focus on neurological and neurospinal 
patients. Two years of
nurse practitioner experience is preferred.
