Nurse Practitioner - Division of Interventional Radiology

Full-time. NYS RN license, related clinical experience and NYS NP 
certification required.
The nurse practitioner will function as an integral part of the 
intervention team with specific
roles of patient care and educating patients and their families. The 
individual can participate
as an adjunct to the nursing staff and in quality improvement, 
discharge planning, and
coordination of patient care within the interventional radiology 
arena. Additionally, you will
positively impact interventional radiology patients, provide clinical 
management and ongoing
continuity of care. The position includes seeing patients 
independently and performing full
and targeted histories and physicals, making rounds on inpatients and 
assessing lab results.
The individual will scrub in on IR cases when necessary, with 
interest in acquiring some
independent procedural skills.
