Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Grafton Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility
Berryville, VA

For almost 50 years, Grafton has been the provider of choice in the 
Mid-Atlantic region for
children with complex developmental disabilities and co-existing 
psychiatric conditions. The
Berryville Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center, located in the 
beautiful Shenandoah
Valley, is an 88 bed CARF accredited facility. This program 
specializes in providing
therapeutic treatment to children and young adults who have 
developmental disabilities and
co-existing psychiatric conditions. The Nurse Practitioner works in 
collaboration with a
physician to assess the physical/ emotional needs of individuals with 
developmental
disabilities and psychiatric conditions. Prescribes medications and 
makes recommendations
for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Supports provision of a 
therapeutic milieu.

Minimum Requirements:
* Must have valid Virginia license as Nurse Practitioner with 
national board certification in area
of specialty.
* Experience working with children and young adults in residential 
setting, preferably a
psychiatric residential treatment facility.
