Bone Marrow Transplant

Patients are assigned a primary oncologist and nurse practitioner. 
The nurse practitioner
provides continuity of care for each patient by educating patients 
and families regarding
diagnosis and treatment, conducting physical examination, determining 
therapy required at
each visit, performing invasive procedures, ordering and interpreting 
laboratory and diagnostic
studies, and providing patient follow-up.
