North Colorado Medical
Center, a Magnet Facility, and one of only eight level II trauma

multidisciplinary team of healthcare
professionals, our facility includes a world-renowned Burn Unit, 
which recently completed an
expansion project.

NCMC has a unique opportunity available for a Physician Extender for 
Behavioral Health
Services.

The position provides assessment and treatment of patients by working 
closely with
psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and others involved in patient 
care. This role provides
prompt and professional contact and medical/psychiatric/addictions 
assessment of patients
presenting to NCMC Behavioral Health.

Applicable requirements per role:

Clinical Nurse Specialist (Advanced Practice Nurse):
* Current Colorado Nursing license
* Inclusion in the Colorado Advance Practice Registry and current DEA 
certificate
* Successful completion of a nationally accredited education program 
as a Clinical Nurse
Specialist

Nurse Practitioner:
* Current Colorado Nursing license
* Inclusion in the State of Colorado Advanced Practice Registry and 
current DEA certificate
* Successful completion of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner 
Training Program

Physician Assistant:
* Current State of Colorado Physician Assistant certification
* Current DEA certificate and successful completion of a nationally 
accredited Physician
Assistant program and BLS certification
