Position Summary (full-time 40hrs/wk)

University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a full-time Nurse 
Practitioner to join our Department
of Medicine/GI Division. In this role, you will provide outpatient 
care and follow-up to patients in
the Gastroenterology clinics at the University of Minnesota Medical 
Center, Fairview. These
services will include six days/months outreach between Fairview Maple 
Grove Medical Center
and Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center (Wyoming). You will be 
working closely with
several academic gastroenterologists, seeing patients with common 
disorders, including
inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.

Qualifications
* Certified (or eligible) for certification as a nurse practitioner 
or physician assistant; licensed
or eligible in the state of Minnesota.
* Completion of a certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
* Meets threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileging
* Participates in clinic/organizational committees as requested.
* Computer and keyboarding skills.
* Demonstrated leadership, teaching, evaluation and communication skills.
* At least two years full-time patient care experience as a NP or PA.

Preferred Requirements
* Certified and Credentialed Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.
* Three years of nursing or NP or PA experience.
